What Comes Next

The War is Over. We Won.

The war is over, but This Means War has a ways to go. Novo Paolo/Bubbleopolis is still in a nebula/stellar nursery, no one knows what happened to the planet Sharen (center of the Intergalactic Council), and the status of the now-surrendered Invaders is yet to be resolved. What will they do when they learn their homeworld is basically destroyed? Will Alyss and Li be re-united? How about Diana (the real one) and Otto?

These questions will be resolved in the next few weeks, before This Means War part 3 wraps in late May.

After that, I plan to go BACK in time about 400 years, to when Alyss and Li left their home in the Sol System to colonize a new world on the far side of the galaxy. As one might expect, hijinks ensue. New subtitle yet to be determined, start date sometime in around the start of July. Stay tuned!

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
The lower level of the viewing area. There is no plexiglass window here, and we see penguins interacting with visitors. Libby is kneeling next to a chinstrap penguin, with some kibble in her outstretched palm, from which the penguin happily munches. Robyn has her camera out and is snapping Libby's photo, as Emily stands by next to Robyn. We can also see some other guests and penguins milling about.
Caption: The lower level of the viewing area was open so that guests could interact with the penguins.
Robyn: Say 'krill.'

Panel 2
Three-shot of Libby, Emily and Robyn, in a teen-girl huddle. Libby is looking mischievous, while the other two are looking doubtful.
Libby: Hey, I've got an idea. I want some action video.
Libby: I'm going out on that grass and you video me as the penguins fly over my head.

Panel 3
Emily attempts to play adult, and frowns disapprovingly at Libby. In the background, show the grassy isthmus with its sign. There is no barrier between the visitor area and that isthmus.
Emily: Can't you read, Action Girl? It says, 'Keep Off The Grass.'
Libby: So?
Robyn: We'll get into trouble!

Panel 4
Libby begins bounding towards the isthmus. Emily rolls her eyes, Robyn prepares her camera.
Libby: What I see is a suggestion, to which I say, 'no thank you.'
Libby: Get your camera ready, Robyn, you don't want to miss this.
