LEVER ACTION RETURNS! January 26, 2011
As some of my readers may be aware, I saw my first non-fiction
book, _Lever Action_, into print in 2001, a few weeks before the
“man-made disaster” we now call “9/11″. (The question is still hanging
in the air, which man made it?) _Lever Action_ was — and still is —
a selection of 87 essays I had written from some point in the mist-
shrouded past until it was all put together by my friends at Mountain
Media.
The book was — and still is — quite a bargain for $21.95, …
A WORD ABOUT _SWEETER THAN WINE_ January 18, 2011
Yesterday was a good day.
My publisher, Shahid Mahmud of Phoenix Pick, the science fiction imprint for Arc Manor, is highly unusual among publishers, in that he wants me to be happy with the way my books turn out. There’s nothing inside my Phoenix Pick books I don’t want there, and nothing has been taken out that I wanted in. I have to be happy with the cover or Shahid isn’t happy. For those of you who don’t do what I do for a living, you may rely on me when I say this is a rare quality in the industry …
A PENALTY CLAUSE FOR THE BILL OF RIGHTS January 12, 2011
Sometimes it feels as if we’ve been fighting for our freedom all our
lives, although I’m fairly certain that it wasn’t supposed to be this
way. I’ve often wondered how it was that the Founding Fathers managed
to omit the single most important element that the Constitution could
have had, namely, a stringent penalty clause, attached to the Bill of
Rights.
That the so-called “architect of the Constitution” James Madison acted
in good faith in this matter, I’m reasonably certain, But it would not
surprise me in the least if someday correspondence showed up laying
the blame at the feet …
A LETTER TO AUSTRALIA January 10, 2011
This weekend, the “humanitarians” who wish to suppress the right
of self-defense were out in force in the wake of the shootings in
Tucson.
Like the so-called mainstream media, who are striving to twist the
event into an excuse to suppress free speech and force individuals who
are critical of runaway government to shut up, members of advocates of
“gun control” — more accurately known as _victim disarmament_ — have
been sitting impatiently like vultures on a saguaro cactus, awaiting
their next bloodsoaked opportunity. In both instances, the “solution”
is — as …
FEASTING ON THE CORPSES January 9, 2011
FOR THE RECORD: heartlessly exploiting the Tucson shootings, Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy, plans more victim disarmament legislation. She is the repulsive scavenger who gained political power stomping through the blood of an ex-husband murdered by a black racist on the Long Island Railway.
Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, blaming the shootings on the Tea Parties and others who resist tyranny, is simply the mirror image of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Just as there are left wing socialists and right wing socialists, there are right wing fascists and left wing fascists. We must defeat both to be truly free.
Spread the word.
