Not that it probably matters to them, but I have stopped listening to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and that entire lot, because of the vile disrespect they have shown Ron Paul, the only man in the Presidential competition who is honest, decent, and actually has a clue to fixing what’s wrong with this country.
I have heard I’m not the only one giving Limbaugh the bum’s rush; it’s said that his listenership has dropped by at least a third in the past few weeks. A lot of people have figured out who the “Doctor of Democracy” (or “Physician of Freedom”) really is.
Although it’s very difficult to get his program in Fort Collins, I will listen to Jerry Doyle (our old friend Michael Garibaldi) whenever I can, instead. I have heard that Michael Savage is behaving honorably in this respect, as well, but it needs confirming. Of course the great and magnificent Brian Wilson can always be trusted to do what’s right.
Meanwhile, a pox on all AINOs (Americans In Name Only).

Why should it be a surprise that Limbaugh, Hannity et al are digging the dirt on Paul? Personally, I’m not suprised. I’ll point out what P. J. O’Rourke noted in his seminal boo, A Parliament of Whores, that We The People have exactly the government we want and the demographic group with the largest handout is the so-called middle class.
Remember, Republican and Democrat are but facets of the same fascist/socialist statist ideal. That Ron Paul seriously puts forward individualistic priciples is the great threat. Limbaugh and crowd are simply following the party line.
I will put forward the observation that the societal march towards the police - nanny state is exactly what the overwhelming majority of Americans want and have been pushing towards it for at least 100 years if not more.
Actually, hannity has invited Paul to come on his show. Rand comes, but Ron doesn’t. mark Levin detests Ron, and makes no bones about it. Limbaugh Just opposes ANYONE who does not toe HIS idea of the line. The funniest thing I’d LOVE to see is for Ron to get the nomination and see these clowns kissing his ass as the only chance they have of getting rid of Obama.
