Panel 2
Odysseus, having polished off his pot off his meal, gets to his feet.
odysseus
Learn from history, kid, and from example. Honor stalled Greece on the plains of Troy for ten years.
Only a cheap trick won that war, and your dad came up with it.
Panel 3
Telemachus angrily grabs Odysseus by his vest. Odysseus doesn't flinch
telemachus
You can't slur my father like that!
odysseus
Oh, grow up. Odysseus himself would tell you it was a cheap trick, but something had to be done.

Panel 4
Telemachus still holds Odysseus, but is relaxing a bit as his father's words sink in.
odysseus
You want to go fight these suitors, fine. I'll be a witness too. But take it from me: it's a hell of a lot more honorable to live as a winner than to die as a loser.
Panel 5
Telemachus releases Odysseus, turns away in frustration. Odysseus scowls.
telemachus
What other choice do I have?
odysseus
Plenty, if you'd just stop talking yourself out of them.

Panel 6
Eumaeus re-enters, a pail of milk in each hand. Odysseus looks at them oddly.
