Get Your EFT v3.1!
So if you’re a pair of outlaw senior citizens in the 22nd Century, and after years of loneliness you fall in love all over again, what do you do? You could go on an interplanetary honeymoon to Mars, get yourselves rejuvenated on the side, and try not to get arrested -- or killed.
Meanwhile, your kids back on Ceres are leading a Space Scouts expedition to a strange new planetoid, where a troubled youth from Terra learns a valuable lesson.
The thrilling adventures of life in the belt continue in volume 3.1 of ESCAPE FROM TERRA!

EFT v2.4 Now @ DriveThru!
They say history repeats itself. Though 200 years separate them, similar events can unfold in similar ways. And that’s what happens to the Cerereans as they once again must face a military challenge from Terra’s United World government.
Will it finally come to interplanetary war? Or maybe there are other options, drawn from Terra’s own bloody history which might avoid the horror of war. And if there is, what resistance might there be from those who crave the battlefield?
These questions are answered and more in 40 pages of “The Christmas War”.

The Transcript For This Page
Pierre and Guy now approach Rosenberg, who greets them. Henry and Suki stand a few meters farther back. Sherwood stands by. Henry and Suki stand near the largest of seven circular koi ponds, six smaller ones spaced evenly around the larger one, which is about seven meters in diameter. The ponds are in a glade surrounded by tall bamboo stalks.
Rosenberg: Hello, I am Pablo Rosenberg.
Rosenberg: Your seconds have retained me to officiate at your duel.
Rosenberg: Are you ready to get started, Sv LeBoeuf?
Pierre is touching the hilt of his sword. Angle the shot so that the sword and the gesture are prominent in the frame. We see Rosenberg in the background, who is noting the sword.
Rosenberg: You won't be needing that, sov.
Rosenberg: Under the Common Code Duello of the Belt and Other Human Space, the person challenged has choice of weapons and field.
Looking over Rosenberg's shoulder at Pierre. Pierre is looking surprised.
Pierre: Well, Mr. Rosenberg, I had assumed ...
Rosenberg: 'Sv Rosenberg,' please. The weapons chosen by Sv Freeman are a pair of three-kilo blacksmith hammers, one for each hand, in ...
Two-shot of Pierre and Guy. Now Pierre looks shocked. Guy is giving his cousin a bemused glance.
Pierre: What! That is not fair!
Pierre: It is barbaric and I have no experience with hammers as weapons!
