Panel 1 CROSS-SECTION of the suitors: While some are pumping fists in the air and shouting Antinous' name, ONE SUITOR looks on, angered and doubtful, unnoticing ONE OF ANTINOUS' MEN behind him who looks at him with loathing and starts to draw a knife. SFX ANTINOUS! ANTINOUS! ANTINOUS! Suitor Wait. Why should he have precedence? Panel 2 ONE SUITOR looks back over his shoulder with fearful eyes as Antinous' man reaches around him to trace One Suitor's neck with the knife blade, MAN WITH KNIFE (whispering) Look again, friend. Don't you see his virtues? Panel 3 One Suitor starts to pump his arm and shout as well. SUITOR ANTINOUS! ANTINOUS! ANTINOUS! SFX ANTINOUS! ANTINOUS! ANTINOUS! Panel 4 IN CORRIDOR outside the Great Hall, Penelope watches suspiciously, with a little concern, as Eumaeus, with a slight deferential bow to her, backs back into the Great Hall, pulling the door closed behind him. PENELOPE Eumaeus, what is my son planning? Why did you bring in all that wine? Panel 5 Eumaeus and Penelope. EUMAEUS Telemachus plans nothing, my lady. A feast, nothing more.
