1. Odysseus, standing in the water, has let go of Circe and roars, fisted clenched in pure fury, at the blue Aegean sky. She winces and covers her ears, as if afraid to hear him. She looks saddened, guilt-stricken. She's getting younger again.
SFX 1
(ODYSSEUS)
AAAAAAAAAA
2. Odysseus turns his attention back to Circe, and he's still furious. She takes a step back, afraid of him. She is now back to her full sexual self.
ODYSSEUS 2
I've traveled to other islands this voyage, too. How many were like this?
ODYSSEUS 3
How long since Troy fell?
3. POV Odysseus. Circe gapes at ‘us’ with pity and dread. She seems genuinely afraid of ‘us.’
CIRCE 4
Going on ten years.
4. CLOSE-UP REACTION SHOT Odysseus. He's stunned. No anger left, just shock. His mouth dangles stupidly open.
No dialogue.
5. Odysseus suddenly turns away, toward the ship, which his men have already boarded. His demeanor has changed again, to pure, unemotional determination, anger gone. From the shore, Circe calls to him pleadingly.
ODYSSEUS 5
Right! Hoist the sails! We have to make up time.
CIRCE 6
It's too late. Your world has left you behind.
CIRCE 7
Stay here with me, Odysseus, and you can live forever.
