Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

Ernie walks into the café. Let's show this scene from behind Ernie, who is walking towards the clutch of friends standing near the bar.

Babbette: Well, look what the cat dragged in.

Ernie: Guy! Ready to go see another Ice Hammers game!

Panel 2
Ernie stands with the other friends. Position Guy just a short step away from the bar. He is wearing a hopeful expression. Everyone else is looking slightly apprehensive.

Guy: I'd be happy to, if Fiorella is also attending.

Guy (2): Will she be joining us soon?


Panel 3
Babbette is resting a comforting hand on Guy's shoulder as she breaks the news. Guy is expressionless.

Babbette. Shortly after you left, Fiorella signed on with a rock wrangler.

Babbette (2): By now she's about 100 million klicks out, retrieving a large nickel-iron rock for a local broker.
