What Comes Next

The War is Over. We Won.

The war is over, but This Means War has a ways to go. Novo Paolo/Bubbleopolis is still in a nebula/stellar nursery, no one knows what happened to the planet Sharen (center of the Intergalactic Council), and the status of the now-surrendered Invaders is yet to be resolved. What will they do when they learn their homeworld is basically destroyed? Will Alyss and Li be re-united? How about Diana (the real one) and Otto?

These questions will be resolved in the next few weeks, before This Means War part 3 wraps in late May.

After that, I plan to go BACK in time about 400 years, to when Alyss and Li left their home in the Sol System to colonize a new world on the far side of the galaxy. As one might expect, hijinks ensue. New subtitle yet to be determined, start date sometime in around the start of July. Stay tuned!

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Guy and Reggie are exiting Reggie's office, with its 'Make A Joyful Noise' etc sign. Both are still carrying their half-empty drink tumblers. Guy is eying his drink with newfound appreciation. (Make this a tall, narrow panel).

Guy: I must say, I do feel a bit better.

Reggie: Great! Like I said, I need your opinion, if you'll follow me ...

Panel 2
Wide panel. Make this one a bit taller than the panel to come underneath. They're in another office, a bit smaller than Reggie's but not by much. Along one wall are rows of 5-drawer filing cabinets. Along the next, a 3-foot high credenza, a low bookcase and a mini-fridge fill the lower area, while the upper 7 feet by the entire width of the wall is one giant image of southern French countryside. The third wall has six-foot wide work table next to a desk area with a standard desktop computer. The fourth wall, where the door is, has nothing on it at all except the light switch. The room is otherwise unadorned. In the first panel we only see the walls with the filing cabinets and the giant image.
Guy: Nice wall-screen.

Reggie: There are 750 nature scenes in memory and of course you can make it show anything you like. Including blank wall.

Panel 3
Wide two-shot of Guy and Reggie. Guy is startled by Reggie's next question.

Reggie: So, you think this will be suitable for my new Chancellor of the Exchequer?
