One Dollar Sale Continues!

$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
In the Water Bros. Café. Babbette the Elder is at her cashier's stand, leaning on her elbows, looking closer to her true age. Bert is standing next to her, looking similarly grave.

Bert: How's Emily doing now?

Babbette: Resting quietly. I've got an autodoc giving her mild sedatives.

Panel 2
Change to a side view so that we can see both Bert and Babbette looking in the same direction, towards the front of the cafe.

Babbette: I'm also worried about my granddaughter.

Panel 3
Babbette the Younger and Ernie are sitting side-by side in one of the booths. There are a couple of untouched drinks on the table before them. She is leaning against his shoulder, and his arm is laying across her shoulders. She has a haunted, thousand-year stare. He's doing his best to be strong for her.

Babbette the Elder (off-panel): She and Emily are, well, I guess you'd call it best-frenemies. I wish her mother were here.

Panel 4
Back at the cashier stand, Babbette the Elder is now leaning her head against Bert's shoulder struggling not to cry. He has his arm around her back, giving her a reassuring half-hug.

Bert: Ernie has strong shoulders. And so have I.
