What Comes Next

The War is Over. We Won.

The war is over, but This Means War has a ways to go. Novo Paolo/Bubbleopolis is still in a nebula/stellar nursery, no one knows what happened to the planet Sharen (center of the Intergalactic Council), and the status of the now-surrendered Invaders is yet to be resolved. What will they do when they learn their homeworld is basically destroyed? Will Alyss and Li be re-united? How about Diana (the real one) and Otto?

These questions will be resolved in the next few weeks, before This Means War part 3 wraps in late May.

After that, I plan to go BACK in time about 400 years, to when Alyss and Li left their home in the Sol System to colonize a new world on the far side of the galaxy. As one might expect, hijinks ensue. New subtitle yet to be determined, start date sometime in around the start of July. Stay tuned!

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Cut to just underneath the airskin. The Pale Man is pulling himself through the gash he has cut in the skin, fighting against the air pressure.

Put a little head-shot of Tobi in the upper left corner to indicate he's the one talking in the caption box.

Caption (Tobi): 'Okay, he's cut a hole in the skin big enough to lower himself through.'

Panel 2
The Pale Man is now a dozen meters below the air skin, drifting slowly downward. He has his hand-held maneuvering unit out, and firing it at an upward 30-degree angle (to both slow his orbital velocity and push himself a bit downward)

Caption: 'Now he's taken out a hand-held maneuvering unit and is firing it to move himself down towards the Little Prince.'

Panel 3
Cut to Bert, Ernie and Tobi at the patio table. Tobi is gazing at a slightly upward angle and looking a bit puzzled.

Tobi: Hmm. I don't see any signs of a parachute.

Panel 4
Two-shot of Bert and Ernie, both looking towards Tobi (who is not in this frame). The brothers are both looking somewhat alarmed.

Bert: Don't you get it?

Ernie: He doesn't know about the black hole …

Bert: … and the high surface gravity it generates!
