Reggie is now sitting at a desk in the control room, writing intently in his notebook. He's wearing a robe and, when we can see his feet, a pair of flip-flops (Ruby Slippers were gone.)

Caption: 'I thought of going back to bed, but I was sure if I did I'd just be awakened by some other nagging 'shadow puppet.''


Panel 2
The Martian music begins again. We see a wave of oddly-shaped musical notes in the air above Reggie's head. He glances up, annoyed by the interruption.

SFX: Musical notes



Panel 3
Reggie shouts at no one in particular. The music abruptly stops.

Reggie: How about we cut the mood music?

SFX: musical notes continue but are interupted by a sharp VRRRRP!

Reggie returns to writing his notes.

Reggie: Thank you, subconscious.
