One Dollar Sale Continues!

$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Two-shot of Reggie and Ken. Reggie is waving a hand in gesture as he makes his objection.

Reggie: But Ken, those weren't just any songs, they were the same song.

Ken: There are mathematical rules to music, Reggie, just as there are to physics.

Panel 2
Looking over Ken's shoulder at Dr. Peña.

Ken (to Peña): I think if you examine wind velocity and directions around the Array, you will see a lot of repeating patterns...

Peña: Yes, there are ...

Panel 3
Medium shot of Peña, his chance to be professorial.

Peña: … but they are chaotically complex and only fractally repetitive.

Peña: We did an exhaustive site study before we constructed the Array.

Panel 4
This panel is showing what Peña is talking about. It's the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, a suspension bridge twisting around like a thing possessed and pulling itself apart.

Narration (Peña): 'Martian air is thin but if it subjected the Array support structures to simple harmonic resonance, it could eventually blow down the Array.'

Narration (Peña): 'Something like that caused the Tacoma Narrows Bridge failure.'
