What Comes Next

The War is Over. We Won.

The war is over, but This Means War has a ways to go. Novo Paolo/Bubbleopolis is still in a nebula/stellar nursery, no one knows what happened to the planet Sharen (center of the Intergalactic Council), and the status of the now-surrendered Invaders is yet to be resolved. What will they do when they learn their homeworld is basically destroyed? Will Alyss and Li be re-united? How about Diana (the real one) and Otto?

These questions will be resolved in the next few weeks, before This Means War part 3 wraps in late May.

After that, I plan to go BACK in time about 400 years, to when Alyss and Li left their home in the Sol System to colonize a new world on the far side of the galaxy. As one might expect, hijinks ensue. New subtitle yet to be determined, start date sometime in around the start of July. Stay tuned!

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Wide panel. The Girls enter an enormous suite. They are in a large 'living room' area with a large entertainment system, a fake but very convincing fireplace, and four doors leading into adjacent bedrooms. Extensive wainscotting, overstuffed lounge furniture, framed prints of grand master paintings adorning the walls. Make it as 'posh' as you can. The girls look about in awe.

Doris: ...

Fiorella: ...

Panel 2
The girls step out onto an enormous balcony. A 4-foot high rail separates them from the open air-space of the Park, where the other buildings and various flying craft hover and move about. Make this a ¾ angle view so we can see a wide extent of the balcony (make it about 50 feet wide) without having to make this another wide panel

Fiorella: Can you believe this balcony?

Doris: Heck, we should just have landed the Fokker here.

Panel3
They enter one of the large bedrooms, as poshly furnished as the living-room area.. Focus is on the giant, 'California King-size' bed.

Doris: This must be the master bedroom.

Fiorella: This room is twice the size of my old apartment back on Terra.

Panel 4
The girls are standing next to the bed, and Fiorella pats it affectionately.

Fiorella: Heck, we should have landed the Fokker here.

Panel 5
Medium close-up of the girls, both in a giggling fit.

Doris and Fiorella, together: Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee!

Panel 6
Doris has laid her backpack on the bed, preparing to open it. Fiorella is looking at Doris tentatively.

Fiorella: Doris, I have to admit I'm intimidated by this 'presidential' suite.

Fiorella: Would you mind if we both slept here?

Panel 7
Doris is starting to pull a t-shirt out of her backpack. Fiorella is looking a bit relieved as Doris assents to her request.

Doris: Sure, we've been sleeping next to each other in zero-gee cocoons for months, on jobs.

Doris: And besides, I'm a bit intimidated too. Pick your side and let's get some shut-eye.
