What Comes Next

The War is Over. We Won.

The war is over, but This Means War has a ways to go. Novo Paolo/Bubbleopolis is still in a nebula/stellar nursery, no one knows what happened to the planet Sharen (center of the Intergalactic Council), and the status of the now-surrendered Invaders is yet to be resolved. What will they do when they learn their homeworld is basically destroyed? Will Alyss and Li be re-united? How about Diana (the real one) and Otto?

These questions will be resolved in the next few weeks, before This Means War part 3 wraps in late May.

After that, I plan to go BACK in time about 400 years, to when Alyss and Li left their home in the Sol System to colonize a new world on the far side of the galaxy. As one might expect, hijinks ensue. New subtitle yet to be determined, start date sometime in around the start of July. Stay tuned!

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Back at the Cafe, focus on Robyn in the booth, we can see Emily sitting next to her. Robyn has elbows on table, propping her forehead on her hands, looks like she's about to start crying.

Robyn: So, I came in here, and, well, you know the rest.

Robyn: I still don't know what I'm going to do.

Panel 2
Swing the camera bit so we now see Babbette the Elder, who has arrived while Robyn was telling her story.

Babbette the Elder: Hon, if ya need some money, all ya gotta do is ask someone for a job. We've got plenty o' work to do.

Panel 3
Now we're looking across the both from the wall, into the cafe area. Several people in the crowd rush the table, all wanting to talk to Robyn.

Person 1: I need someone to distribute flyers for my repair shop.

Person 2 (woman laying some coins on the booth table): Here ya go, dear, pay me back when you get back on your feet.

Person 3: Can you teach that Kendo to my kids?

Person 4: I could use someone with hydroponics experience at my grow center.

Panel 4
Small panel, close-up on Robyn, who is surprised by all this attention.

Robyn: I .. I … I don't know what to … uh ...
