SubscribeStar Update: All Systems Go!

The QUANTUM VIBE page on SubscribeStar is now open for business.

Those seeking an alternative to Patreon for supporting Scott and Quantum Vibe, SubscribeStar is another option. Paypal is not available with SubsribeStar, but credit cards are accepted. Plans for accepting crypto-payments are in the works. Stay tuned.

SubscribeStar update: Not yet

The QUANTUM VIBE page on SubscribeStar is open, although the site seems to be going through some growing pains.

For that reason I'm advising Patrons looking to switch over, to wait a little while longer. I subscribed to a couple of channels there and there are some billing issues. If they get cleared up within a week, I'll announce the ALL CLEAR and invite everyone unhappy with Patreon to come over.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Smallish panel. Elvis croons his last line.

Elvis Head (electronic): Welcome to my world

Panel 2
Large panel. The face of Elvis' Head bursts into a cloud of brightly lit objects covered in shifting vortices of colors, shapes and images. At the margins, musical notes again (won't try to score 'Entrance of the Gladiators').

Voice (electronic:) Ladeeeeeez and Gen-tle-mennnnn ...

Panel 3
Cut to Fiorella and Doris, looking on with expressions a mix of astonishment and a growing delight.

Voice: … children of all ages, welcome to SkyLand Theme Park and Resort.

Voice: The finest, and only – heh-heh – vacation destination in 149 million kilometers.

Panel 4
Cut to a previously un-seen trio, a well-to-do middle-aged couple with a 12-year-old boy, in the control cabin of their yacht. The boy's eyes are saucer-wide.

Voice: For today only, entrance to the resort is free to the crews and passengers of the 372 ships who followed Rock Elvis here.

Voice: You may stay up to three Terran days as our guests.

Panel 5
Large Panel: In the foreground, a Monolith (100x400x900 meters), attached to an air skin which envelopes several other shapes in the background. The monolith is black and illuminated by lighted strips along its edges. The shapes in the background should be indistinct – see the file Artists' Notes for Babes in Toyland for some suggested details.

Voice: Please tune to traffic control frequency, 126.625 AM, and proceed to the Monolith for docking instructions.

Panel 6
Show a line of ships approaching the Monolith, the Split-Tail among them. Points of light are starting to appear on the Monolith's broad surface.

Caption: As the first ships approached ...

Panel 7
Medium c/u on Fiorella:

Fiorella: My god, it's full of stars!
