One Dollar Sale Continues!

$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Large panel. In the foreground, Buzz leads our girls into a large, hemispherical auditorium. Scores of people are hanging onto railings on the flat 'floor.' In the center of the floor is a sort of podium with a young, crisply-groomed woman speaking. She is flanked by a bank of projectors pointed at the domed ceiling.

Doris: Looks like a planetarium.

Buzz: It operates much the same way. This is the resort orientation.

Panel 2
Medium three-shot of Buzz and the girls, moving (Buzz flies, the girls use hand-rails) along the wall of the auditorium.

Buzz: However, I have been instructed to escort you directly to the Director's office for a private meeting. Please follow me.

Panel 3
Different angle. Buzz in foreground right, leading the way, the girls in the middle-ground left behind him.

Doris: Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Buzz: I'm sorry, Doris, I have not been informed as to the nature or purpose of the meeting.

Panel 4
Now, the girls are framed in a doorway. Buzz flies on through, but the girls pull back a bit in a mild fear reaction to what they're seeing.

Caption: Finally...

Voice (OP): Greetings, ladies.

Panel 5
Standing behind a desk is a very large Polynesian man with a heavily tattooed face. He smiles warmly. Arrayed in front of the desk are three zero-gravity seats.

Arana: I am Arana Awatere, the Director of this park and your host. Please come in and lock onto a seat.

Panel 6
Angled view from behind Arana. The girls remain in the doorway.

Doris: We were wondering, Mr. Awatere …

Arana: Arana, please. May I call you Doris and Fiorella?

Arana: Please come a little further into my office and I think your questions will be answered.

Panel 7
The girls cautiously move into the room. They look into a corner of the room that has not been seen previously, and there stands Reggie King.

Doris and Fiorella (in unison): Reggie!
