One Dollar Sale Continues!

$1 Books Plus Shipping!

Hard to believe it, but Big Head Press published it's first novel, over 20 years ago. To commemorate our stubborn longevity, we continue to stubbornly offer each of our non serialized graphic novel stories for just one mere American dollar (plus shipping). Start your holiday shopping early and light up some body's mind with one or more of these titles.

Offer only available in the United States.

Kickstarter Success!

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

The Transcript For This Page

Distance shot of the Mass Driver, headed for the edge of Dactyl, which is now only about 250 meters away. The brothers are clinging to the near end of the Mass Driver.

Ernie: It's jumping distance for one of us, but not both.
Ernie: This rig is so light, we really don't have enough mass to push against.
Ernie: One of us has to be that mass.

Panel 2
Two-shot of the brothers.

Bert: I should …
Ernie: This is not about who gets sacrificed.
Ernie: One of us makes the jump, takes the bad guy by surprise, recovers our ship, and comes back to pick up the 'mass provider' and we can both go home.
Panel 3
Another two-shot, different angle, but we see Ernie's face doing the talking.

Ernie: I should be the one to stay on the rig.
Ernie: I'm a lover, not a fighter and if things get dicey, you are better equipped to handle the bad guys.
Panel 4
Looking past Ernie at Bert looking exasperated.

Bert: Will you let me get a word in edge-wise?
Bert: I still think ...

Panel 5
Looking past Bert at Ernie, who is suddenly expressing fear and pointing over Bert's shoulder. Bert is turning around to see what's going on.

Ernie: Oh no! It's...

Panel 6
Ernie holds on to the braces on Mass Driver as he kicks Bert off the rig. Bert is caught by surprise and goes flying.

Ernie: … it's Elvis!

Panel 7
Bert hurtles towards a rocky out-cropping on the surface of Dactyl, now only six meters away.
Bert (thinks): Oh boy, this is really going to hurt.
