QV on a short break

QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.

In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.

Not-Safe.Space is a NSFW strip but more than half the pages are SFW so I've set those to *not* require a Patreon membership. Readers should be able to follow the story without seeing the NSFW pages. If I've done this right.

The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Establishing scene: Babbette the Elder exiting Callahan's with Bert and Ernie, strolling casually, Ceres-style along the city street, the elder woman flanked on each side by her sons. They're about a quarter-mile or so from the Water Bros. Cafe.
Ernie (to Babbette): So, anything exciting happen while we were away?
Babbette: Lemme think – you met our new girl Robyn Jones before you left, right?

Panel 2
Closer 3-shot on Babbette and her sons. Ernie looks at Bert, Bert looks at Babbette.
Ernie: Uh, no?
Bert: You mentioned 'taking in another stray' just before we left, I think.

Panel 3
More distant 3-shot of the trio, walking away.
Babbette: The only other thing was Wally Cooper taking down the SpacePort Mugger.
Bert: Wally …
Ernie: … Cooper?
