What Comes Next

The war is over, but This Means War has a ways to go. Novo Paolo/Bubbleopolis is still in a nebula/stellar nursery, no one knows what happened to the planet Sharen (center of the Intergalactic Council), and the status of the now-surrendered Invaders is yet to be resolved. What will they do when they learn their homeworld is basically destroyed? Will Alyss and Li be re-united? How about Diana (the real one) and Otto?

These questions will be resolved in the next few weeks, before This Means War part 3 wraps in late May.

After that, I plan to go BACK in time about 400 years, to when Alyss and Li left their home in the Sol System to colonize a new world on the far side of the galaxy. As one might expect, hijinks ensue. New subtitle yet to be determined, start date sometime in around the start of July. Stay tuned!

Ernie steps forward and takes Babbette's hand with the gold in both of his, and looks at her with tenderness.
Ernie: Babbette, I love you very much.
Ernie: I accept your amends and you have my complete forgiveness.

Panel 2
Pull the camera back so we can see a crowd of guests around Babbette and Ernie. Daughter and Father hug each other, tears in their eyes. The crowd cheers.
SFX: crowd cheers

Panel 3
Cut to Babbette the Elder and Reggie with the crowd cheering around them. Babbette has a tear in her eye as she glances at Reggie, who is just beaming with pride for his young friend.
BtE: Somehow I think you had a hand in this.
Reggie: What makes you say that?

Panel 4
Now Bert is standing next to Ernie, waving to get the crowd's attention.
Bert: Okay, I've checked off 'Confession and 'Amends.'
Bert: So how about let's do 'My Name' so we can move on to the 'Party' part. I'm thirsty!
