What Comes Next

The War is Over. We Won.

The war is over, but This Means War has a ways to go. Novo Paolo/Bubbleopolis is still in a nebula/stellar nursery, no one knows what happened to the planet Sharen (center of the Intergalactic Council), and the status of the now-surrendered Invaders is yet to be resolved. What will they do when they learn their homeworld is basically destroyed? Will Alyss and Li be re-united? How about Diana (the real one) and Otto?

These questions will be resolved in the next few weeks, before This Means War part 3 wraps in late May.

After that, I plan to go BACK in time about 400 years, to when Alyss and Li left their home in the Sol System to colonize a new world on the far side of the galaxy. As one might expect, hijinks ensue. New subtitle yet to be determined, start date sometime in around the start of July. Stay tuned!

Strip 108
Panel 1
Guy's living room. His Ceres City apartment is spacious and well-appointed. Pierre is standing in the room with Guy, Pierre, a bit shorter than Guy and very slender, with a delicate air, is looking disdainful.
Pierre: So, this is your place?
Pierre: In Paris, I have a view of the Seine and the Tower Eiffel.
Panel 2
Closer 2-shot of Pierre and Guy. Pierre continues to yammer as Guy touches some buttons on a remote control device.
Pierre: What do you have? Just comm screens?
Panel 3
Guy's living room is transformed. The floor and furniture remain, in place of the walls and ceiling we have a 3-dimensional image of Paris at Sunset, as seen from light-pole height just across the Seine river from the famous Tower Eiffel. Pierre is momentarily non-plussed.

Guy: This is a realtime view taken from a tanglecam across the Seine from the Tower.
Guy: Is your view better than this?
Panel 4
Closer 2-shot of Pierre and Guy. Guy momentarily has the upper hand, and Pierre is looking burned.
Guy: I have visited your apartment in Paris. My humble abode here is three or four times the size of your place.
Guy: So, what is your point?
